Spring Concert at Cathedral Church of St. Luke, Portland

To honor Renaissance Voices 30th Anniversary, Music Director Harold Stover has programmed a celebratory concert that distills his favourite a cappella works from the close to 1000 pieces Renaissance Voices has performed since its inception in 1995. Mum's the word so far a specific works and thematic readings to be performed! Rest assured, though, that you will hear a perfectly calibrated program of works by the likes of Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Robert and Clara Schumann, English and American Folk Songbook hits, 20th century Great American Songbook gems, and the world premiere of pieces by modern-day composers, including our own Harold Stover. This promises to be an extraordinary journey through centuries of choral masterpieces!
